About

Dhiren J N
Product & Industrial Designer

I’m a product and industrial designer focused on behaviour-driven objects and material-led thinking.

I work across physical products, interface systems, and prototypes, shaping concepts from problem framing through refinement and final resolution. I’m currently looking for internship and full-time opportunities where I can contribute rigorous process, clear visual thinking, and hands-on making.

01 — Behaviour First
I design by observing how people actually use things, not how they are supposed to. Behaviour reveals friction, workarounds, and the moments that deserve form.
02 — Material Honesty
Materials are not decoration. They shape interaction, durability, manufacturing logic, and how a product is understood at first touch.
03 — Systems Thinking
Every product belongs to a larger ecosystem of production, use, maintenance, and disposal. I use that full system to make better design decisions early.
04 — Make to Learn
Sketches, CAD, and prototypes are how I test assumptions. Making is not the end of the process for me; it is how the process becomes more accurate.

These principles guide my projects from redesigning everyday objects to building interactive systems. See how they show up in my work.

Design Process
The game now tracks the four stages of a product journey, so the interaction feels tied to your portfolio rather than a toolbox.
Controls
Use arrow keys on desktop, or the pad below on mobile, to steer the line through research, ideation, prototyping, and final product.
Complete all four design stages without hitting the wall or your own trail.
